Look For Him.
I changed my Facebook cover photo today.
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
I wanted to see His face for quite some time now. He had been silent..
It wasn't Him who had a problem of hiding; it was me as usual who's not seeking.
Today, I started to look for Him with all my heart and with all my soul and I found Him.
This photo was taken in Punta Fuego Batangas August of last year.

Anya
Today's highlight is the Lighthouse Concert.
There's a bigger highlight though.
Before going to PICC, I visited a friend in National Kidney Institute whose mother underwent a leg ulcer operation.
My friend's name is Bella. She was the first person in my previous company who badly hurt me with her words. She was the only person in my previous company who gave me hope and strength and asked me not to resign.
You see, prayers are beautiful. When I was hurting for days for what she said to me, I prayed blessings for her. I deliberately become close to her and she generously taught me regarding work. It's not that others were not generous. They are. She was the smartest of them all, I'd say.
She works night and day. You read that right. She works on both night shift and days shift well to help her family.
I couldn't fathom how somebody who works this much could afford to donate to the Lighthouse concert.
Ah! She's like the widow in the bible whom Jesus refers to.
The Widow’s Offering
41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
I greatly honor this person
By the way, above was a picture of her daughter, Anya. Uber cute and pretty!
This photo was taken in National Kidney Institute in Quezon City.

I See Jesus In Her
Her name is Genalyn Kabiling and she's a disciple of Christ.( She and Bely Estrella are my caring group heads in Makati Feast. They are both inspiring. I miss Bely, too, who is in Qatar right now)
Gen's confidence, friendship, beauty, loyalty, humor, humility, courage, leadership, kindness, art, strength, charm, optimism, calmness, enthusiasm, faithfulness, generosity, hard work, and discipline make me see Jesus in her. God bless her. I believe that she'll make many people see Jesus in her.
Love you Gen!

Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant!
Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant!
Matthew 25:23
This camera is with me for almost a decade and I thank God because this has made me happy taking pictures of people smiling.
One of my dreams is to take a picture of this camera. I did today.
P.S. I got my first SLR Nikon 5100 this afternoon. I used it to take a picture of my Canon A540.
Buying an SLR? Try this store: Mayer Photo in Quiapo. They got the cheapest Nikon 5100 among the stores there. ^^

I love yellow and green plus taking pictures. All of the pictures that I would add on my posting online would have this image.
Amazing!

What's Your Gethsemane Moment?
Jesus withdrew from his disciples about a stone's throw, knelt down, and prayed, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me; yet, not my will but yours be done." Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and gave him strength. In his anguish he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground. Luke 22:41-44
This image I captured reading the Manila Bulletin dated September 9th,2012 was written by Dr. Jun Ynares. He lost a daughter and a pastor empathized with him by giving a letter.
He wrote:
“You are right; there is no other being who can fathom the depth of your pain. No one except Christ. He can, because He has been through the same pain – the severe pain of being alone at the moment of great suffering. I do hope you remember Christ at the Garden of Gethsemane? Yes, He’s been there. He knows exactly the kind of pain you wrote about.
“Christ’s pain at Gethsemane was not a physical one; it was emotional. It was pain borne out of a sense of aloneness. Of being just by oneself at a trying time. He did holler for help, pleading that his friends stay awake and keep him company at that moment of emotional anguish. None obliged. He remained alone. He remained just by himself. The moment was His alone. So was the emotional pain.
“Loneliness is perhaps one of our greatest pains. It is so great Christ actually sweated blood as He went through it.
“All of us will have our Gethsemane moments. You just had yours.
“Now, you are truly friends with Christ. That’s inevitable. He was the only One who knew how you felt because He had been through the similar ordeal of suffering alone. Now, you understand each other better.”

Lighthouse Concert
I stayed most of the time today in my room. I chose this image that I designed in Powerpoint as the picture of the day. Nothing fancy.. though the lighthouse concert has a powerful message.
Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

WWJD
WWJD. This stands for What Would Jesus Do.
This was the main lesson in the prayer and life workshop.
It may seem hard but, I should always do what Jesus would do in every challenge and situation..
A perfect picture for the day because last night I happily went to bed. That shivery, positive feeling continued the whole day today. These four-letter word reminds me of somebody who didn't just advice me on what would Jesus do when He would encounter a problem like I did, he's also a synonym of WWJD.
God would definitely reward his big heart!

Money In Relation To Freedom
Having money gives one freedom.
This was taken in Forever 21 in SM Makati sometime this year with my friend Myra.We tried some clothes and shoes.
Today, I came back alone and I just checked the different fashion styles on the mannequins.I saw the prices of the clothes. Haha! I won't dare buy.
Strutting confidently on my way to the store made me happy. It is enough that I know that I can buy some great and expensive clothes.
Thank God for giving me the gift of contentment.

My O.T.L. ( The Second Non-Negotiable Quality)
Humility
Don Bosco always cherished the memory of his humble beginnings even as he moved higher in learning on the road towards the priesthood. The memory helped him to open his heart to the poor and the abandoned who, like his own family, had to struggle to make ends meet. He learned humility from others as well. As a young priest he read the texts of some of his sermons to his mother to check if simple people like her would understand what he was saying.
This is an excerpt from https://sites.google.com/site/dbway2010/don-bosco/personality
A mysterious dream at the age of nine left an indelible mark on his life. He saw himself amidst scruffy street kids who were fighting and using abusive language.
Intending to stop them he jumped into the fray hitting out wildly with his fists. Suddenly, a majestic personage stood in their midst and stopped him short. He entrusted Johnny to his mother, a beautiful lady who appeared by his side. She would teach John how to change the ‘wild animals’ into ‘gentle lambs’. There and then, Mary, the mother of Jesus, began her first lesson: “Johnny”, she said, “not through violence, but with loving kindness.” She instructed him to prepare well for a great mission by becoming “humble, steadfast and strong”.
John saw in this dream a divine commission to work for young people especially those who were poor and abandoned. He decided to become a priest – in imitation of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, totally dedicated to caring for underprivileged youth. Everywhere in the rapidly industrialising city of Turin, he saw the urgency of his call. He grew concerned about the different forms of human misery that were affecting vulnerable young people the most. There were hungry and lonely orphans, uneducated and unemployed urchins, migrant youth from rural areas in search of work, young victims of abuse by unscrupulous adults. He began reaching out to them in the by-lanes and market places of the city. He brought them to a safe and secure place at Valdocco, which he called the ‘Oratory of St. Francis de Sales’. It was his very first educational enterprise - the first step in the realisation of his dream.
Kitch cafe would be closing or changing managements. It was sad, but the good thing about this is that when I passed by Don Bosco coffee shop, the man said that this will reopen tomorrow. Wow! My peace of heaven would be opened. It is the place where I do my date with God and I'm excited.
Also, I felt peace after doing my sacred half hour in Don Bosco Adoration chapel.
The second non-negotiable quality of my O.T.L. should be humble and confident. He should have the loving kindness to the youth and street children.

Two Kinds Of Wounds
There are two kinds of wounds.
First are your wounds. Your
suffering. Your trial. Your need.
The second is different: It’s
other people’s wounds.
Their suffering. Their
trial. Their need. When their wounds become your wounds,
you’re taking on the “burden of God”. God
feels their pain and wants you to feel their
pain too. When you feel other people’s
wounds, you develop a powerful wish for them.
You
become a missionary. – Bo Sanchez.

What Is An Eternal Instant?
An eternal instant.
An instant in time that had no time. A picture that froze in mid-frame, demanding to be savored. A minute that refused to die after sixty seconds. A moment that was lifted off the time line and amplified into a forever so all the angels could witness its majesty.
